Oh...Christmas Tree? Really?

Well, I've been wanting to post this blog for about a week now, but our computer at home is being silly and takes about half an hour to upload one picture to Blogger. So I uploaded them all to Myspace so I could save them to the computer here at work and get this thing posted!

Since we are unbelievably broke this year, Trey cut down a pine tree while at work to bring home. Too bad he didn't think to measure it first. It curved against the ceiling!

Here's Trey inspecting the tree, trying to figure out the best way to cut it down to size. I made the mistake of telling him to cut it from the bottom...

Trey cut it down, and we set it up, but now it looks so... ghetto...lol

We couldn't find our Christmas ornaments, and only enough lights to cover half the tree, but thankfully a huge bag of ornaments and lights magically appeared on my living room floor the next day. (Thanks, Jules!)

I made a wreath last year, and it made it through the move, somehow.

My happy little Casey. He doesn't care what the tree looks like, so neither do I. (Too bad I can't get the kid to keep his clothes on.)

Well, there ya go. Our comical Christmas tree.

6 Things

Hmm... six non-important habits or quirks about me. This is going to be hard.

#1)I only like square ice cubes. I CAN'T STAND crushed or chopped ice. I don't even like frozen daquiri's and such because of it. I also use a straw because I don't want the ice to bump my teeth.
#2) I strongly believe that lettuce does NOT belong on warm food. If I end up with lettuce on my tacos, I will meticulously pick off every single teeny tiny piece... even if it means losing cheese in the process. :(
#3)I have to have the radio on when I'm driving, or cleaning, for that matter. I just feel strange if it's not on while I'm driving, and I can't get motivated without it if I'm cleaning.
#4)I'm a procrastinator. Enough said.
#5) I can't drink hot beverages when it's hot outside, but I can drink cold beverages when it's cold outside.
#6)I take a lot of time thinking of words to say or write down, and when I go to do so, I forget EVERYTHING I had come up with.

Since I don't know that many people on Blogger, I don't really have anyone to tag. I'm sure Tara already tagged Holly and Cindy... so... oh well...

Yep, I'm Traditional.

You Are a Traditional Christmas Tree
For a good Christmas, you don't have to re-invent the wheel.
You already have traditions, foods, and special things you bring out every year.
